The Baltimore Ravens turned a distraction into a punchline–literally.

Earlier this week, Ed Reed had some critical comments for his quarterback Joe Flacco, and that became much of the focus leading up to Sunday”s AFC Championship Game in New England.

But the two players playfully exchanged words heading out to Thursday”s practice, .

After walking past television cameras and reporters to get to the indoor practice field, Flacco turned to Reed and playfully said, “[expletive] you.” That caused Reed to respond: “[Expletive] me? [Expletive] you.”

Reed addressed the issue in a national conference call today, saying the team has moved past it, ESPN.com”s Jamison Hensley writes. “He’s our quarterback regardless of anything.” Reed said.
