New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says he”s preparing and getting ready for his toughest test of the season.

After the Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos on Saturday, and after watching the Ravens beat the Houston Texans on Sunday, Brady told WEEI on Monday that he doesn”t think the Patriots have played anyone as good as the Ravens.

“The Ravens, they’re the best team we’ve played all year,” Brady said. “They present a ton of challegnes in all three phases of the game. When you watch them, like you watched them yesterday, they’re physical, they’re tough, they can cover, they have some of the best players in the history blackjack of the NFL at their possitions like [Terrell] Suggs, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata.”

The Patriots are the favorites, but they”re a team that struggled against playoff competition in the regular season. New England reached the AFC Championship Game without ever beating a team over .500.

Against teams that finished the season with a winning record, the Patriots went 0-2, losing at home to the New York Giants and on the road to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If in fact the Ravens are the best team the Patriots will face, and so far New England is 0-2 against the two best teams they”ve faced, Sunday”s AFC Title Game is going to be tough test for the Patriots.
