The Baltimore Ravens announced they’ve signed linebacker Josh Bynes from their practice squad to the 53-man active roster, according to Dan Kolko of MASNSports.com.
To make room for Bynes on the roster, the team waived offensive tackle D.J. Jones.
Bynes, an undrafted rookie free agent from Auburn University, spent one game earlier this season on the Ravens’ active roster. The 6-foot-1, 240 pound, former Southeastern conference standout was with the Ravens in training camp, was released in their final roster cuts on Sept. 3, and was then signed to the practice squad on Nov. 9.
With both Jameel McClain (MCL sprain) and Brendon Ayanbadejo (quad) listed as questionable for tomorrow’s divisional-round contest against the Houston Texans, Bynes will provide depth at the inside linebacker position.
