Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin claims he lost over $220,000 when his former agent went bankrupt, according to Fox Sports.
Boldin, 31, claims that he lent his former agent, Darrell Eugene Willis, $170,000 in 2004 so he could start up his own sports management company. Supposedly, there was an agreement between the two that stated Willis would repay Boldin with interest over time.
When Willis was unable to hold up his end of the deal, Boldin filed suit in bankruptcy court against his former agent. However, the judge in Tallahassee, Fla., ruled that Willis was unable to financially repay his debt to former Pro Bowl wide receiver.
