If the Houston Texans beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, they will be packing their bags for a trip to Baltimore for the Divisional round of the playoffs.
And if that happens, the Ravens will have a leg up when it comes to scouting the 2011 AFC South champions.
Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron will be sitting in the stands for today’s Texans-Bengals wild-card game, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets.
The Ravens will need as much knowledge on the Texans’ defense as they can get. In Wade Phillips’ first season as defensive coordinator, the Texans defense finished the regular season ranked second in total yards allowed per game (189.7) and fourth in points allowed per game (17.4.)
The Texans’ defense is anchored by inside linebacker Brian Cushing, who leads Houston with 114 tackles to go along with five passes defended, four sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
