Baltimore Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff returned for Sunday’s regular-season finale at Cincinnati after missing last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns due to a nagging left-calf injury.
Cundiff looked good in his return as he booted a 42-yard field goal, made all three of his extra points and had a pair of touchdowns.
“I had full confidence that I was going to play,” Cundiff said, via The Carroll County Times. “It was just a matter of making sure they had full confidence that I could last the whole game. It was a constant communication to make sure we were on the same page.”
Just as a precautionary measure, the Ravens elected to keep fellow kicker Shayne Graham on the roster for this week, but the team chose to go with Cundiff after both players made the trip to Cincinnati and warmed up before kickoff.
Graham, who will filled in for Cundiff last week, was a perfect two of two on field goals, connecting on kicks of 48 and 43 yards.
