The Baltimore Ravens have used the void left by wide receiver and kick returner David Reed on the 53-man roster to add depth to the offensive line, signing offensive tackle D.J. Jones from their practice squad, according to Don Kolko of MASNSports.com.

Jones, an undrafted free agent from the University of Nebraska, was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins.

He spent time on the Dolphins practice squad earlier this season before getting waived in mid-October. Two days later, the Ravens signed him to their practice squad.

Jones stands at 6-foot-5, weighing 310 pounds.

To fill Jones’ spot on the practice squad, the Ravens signed former University of Colorado wide receiver Patrick Williams.

Williams signed as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2009. He also has had a brief stint with the Seattle Seahawks.
