Baltimore Ravens wide receiver and kick returner David Reed tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee during the third quarter of the Ravens’ 20-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns last Saturday, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed today, according to Aaron Wilson of The Carroll County Times.
“Reed had already indicated that he suffered a season-ending knee injury during a kickoff return during the Ravens’ 20-14 victory Saturday against the Cleveland Browns,” Wilson writes.
Now, with Reed on injured reserve, look for the Ravens to fill his roster spot in the coming days.
