Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his three sack and three forced fumble performance in the Ravens’ 24-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts this past Sunday.
Suggs has won the award two out of the past three weeks. Overall, Suggs has won the weekly award three times this season.
The four-time Pro Bowler leads the Ravens with 13 sacks, registering an impressive seven over the team’s past three games. Also, the 29-year-old has had three, three-sack performances this season.
In addition, Suggs has forced a team-high six fumbles and has two interceptions.
A Ravens defensive player has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week five times though the first 15 weeks of the season.
