Despite a report that Baltimore Ravens starting cornerback Lardarius Webb would miss at least one game because of a turf toe injury, head coach John Harbaugh said that he expects Webb to play this Sunday night against the San Diego Chargers, this according to Dan Kolko of MASNSports.com.
Speaking of injury news, Harbaugh believes everyone who played in the team’s 24-10 victory over the Colts should be able to do so this upcoming Sunday.
“As far as injuries go, just like (we said) last night, there’s nothing serious coming out of that game,” Harbaugh said. “We’ve got bumps and bruises. There may be some guys that we rest throughout the course of the week practice-wise, but we anticipate everybody who was playing last week healthy-wise to be healthy this week, and we’re hoping to add some guys. We’ll see. You’ve got guys like Ray (Lewis), Chris Carr off the top of my head.”
Earlier today, 105.7 The Fan reported that Webb suffered an apparent toe injury in yesterday’s win over Indianapolis, and is expected to miss at least this Sunday’s game at San Diego.
Webb was on the field for the Ravens’ second-to-last defensive series of the game. However, Webb did not appear on the field for the Ravens’ final defensive series of the game.
