T-Sizzle Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs was named AFC Defensive Player of the week after recording three sacks and forcing a fumble in Baltimore’s 16-6 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving night.
This is the second time Suggs has been honored with the award this season. The 29-year-old was awarded the weekly honor after his first three sack performance in week one against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Overall, Suggs has claimed the award three times in his nine-year career.
Additionally, this marks the fourth time that a Ravens linebacker has received this honor this season.
Suggs’ three sacks helped the Ravens tie a franchise record with nine sacks in their victory over the 49ers.
