The Baltimore Ravens elected long snapper Morgan Cox as the winner of the Ed Block Courage Award winner.
Last December, despite tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against the Cleveland Browns, Cox finished the game playing through significant pain while not having the ability to run or block normally.
Playing through the excruciating pain, Cox snapped for three punts, two field goals and a pair of extra points. After the game, he was promptly placed on injured reserve and underwent surgery to repair the knee damage.
Nine months later Cox returned to his role as the Ravens’ long snapper.
