Prior to signing with the Baltimore Ravens before the 2010 season, Cory Redding spent the 2009 season lining up at defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks.
In 15 games for the Seahawks during the 2009 season, Redding racked up two sacks while starting three games.
Redding, who spent his first six years of his career in Detroit, will be returning to Seattle for the first time.
CenturyLink field, formerly known as Qwest Field, is as advertised when it comes to giving the Seahawks as big of a home-field advantage as any team in the NFL, according to Redding.
“The whole 12th man will be in effect,” Redding said. “We’re going to have to battle the fans along with the team.”
