Injury News and Updates from Thursday’s Practice
The Baltimore Ravens were without defensive studs Terrell Suggs (knee) and Ed Reed (shoulder) during Thursday’s practice open to the media.

Neither player was listed on the Ravens’ injury report yesterday.
Also absent from practice was linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo, who suffered a concussion last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and rookie running back Anthony Allen, who continues to fight a bad hamstring.
Center Matt Birk returned to the practice field today after missing Wednesday’s practice with a neck injury.
It appears Birk’s injury isn’t anything serious. The Ravens just like to give the 14-year veteran a Wednesday off every now and then to allow his neck and surgically repaired knee to heal up, according to Dan Kolko of MASNSports.com
