Hines Ward to Play Sunday vs. Ravens

It comes as no surprise here that wide receiver Hines Ward, who did not play against New England with a bum ankle, said he will play against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday night.

Ward is the ultimate Ravens antagonist who relishes playing against Baltimore because of the physical nature between the two division rivals.

Though the Steelers offense did not miss a beat with Ward out of the lineup, they will benefit from his ability to catch the ball in traffic and tight coverage.

Antonio Brown and Emanuel Sanders stepped up in Ward’s absence Sunday, recording a combined 14 catches for 137 yards and one touchdown against the Patriots.
