Baltimore Ravens’ defensive end, Paul Kruger has come into his own in his third season with the Baltimore Ravens.
Since being moved back to his natural slot rush end position, the Ravens 2009 second-round draft pick has earned increased playing time with his sound play.
His improved play paid off in a big way Sunday when he registered two sacks against Arizona quarterback Kevin Kolb, including a clutch one in the game’s final minutes that effectively set up Billy Cundiff’s winning 25-yard field goal.
Kruger’s sack came on a third-and-eight play for the Cardinals from their 15-yard line with just over a minute remaining in regulation.
Kruger’s two sacks Sunday give him a total of three for the season.
