After being sidelined since the teams second game with a left ankle injury, veteran wide receiver Lee Evans expects to return at some point this season for the Baltimore Ravens.
Evans indicated that surgery is not an option. He’s also made no prediction for when he might return.
“It’s to the point now where I can’t even answer any more questions about it. It’s going to be what it is. We’ll see.”
Rookie Torrey Smith has replaced Evans in the lineup the last three weeks, and the speedster has done a nice job filling in, recording nine catches for 237 yards and three touchdown.
