Outside linebacker Jarrett Johnson is one of the toughest, most durable players in franchise history, and is finally getting his due.
Johnson has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for week four. He’s the third Ravens linebacker in the first four weeks of the season to win the award, following Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis.
Johnson, 30, returned a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown and recorded three tackles, including one for a loss in the Ravens’ 34-17 victory over the New York Jets.
Johnson has quietly played 117 consecutive games, often playing through shoulder and back injuries.
