What’s that? Being 36 years old and playing in your 16th season as a linebacker is too old for the NFL?
Tell that to Ray Lewis, who happens to be 36 and playing in his 16th NFL season, and was just named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the St. Louis Rams.
Lewis was able to notch 10 tackles and a sack-fumble, which DT Haloti Ngata recovered for a TD. Great news for the Ravens defense, as this marks the 2nd player to receive this honor so far this season— with Suggs being the first.
Who’s next: Ed Reed or Haloti Ngata?
