On Friday, the Ravens released their final injury report of the week, and starting left guard Ben Grubbs was listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game at Tennessee.
Grubbs, who has made 67 consecutive starts at left guard dating back to his rookie season of 2007, would be replaced by Andre Gurode if he cannot play. Despite playing the last five seasons at center with the Dallas Cowboys, Gurode started 38 games in his first three seasons with the Cowboys at left guard.
Apparently, Grubbs has been bothered by a toe injury that shelved him for the entire week of practices. However, Grubbs and Head Coach John Harbaugh remain optimistic that somehow, someway Grubbs would be available for Sunday’s contest against the Titans.
