Ravens

6-2-0 A win over the Dolphins (and with the Patriots losing to the Browns), the Ravens stand as the best team in the AFC. (Conoon)
2
Steelers
6-2-0 Solid team, Big Ben is their difference maker as usual. (Gene)
3
Jets
6-2-0 Their 6-2 record is a little deceiving as they’ve barely managed to win some games. (Conoon)
4
Giants
6-2-0 82 points in the last 2 games and winning the last 5 games certainly puts you in the top 5. (Conoon)
5 Packers 6-3-0 Punishing the Cowboys may not be such a feat now, but it’s certainly a much-needed confidence booster for the Packers. (Conoon)
6
Falcons
6-2-0 Well balanced offense, but have they faced enough playoff contenders to put themselves at the top? (Gene)
7
Patriots
6-2-0 Looked horrible versus the Browns. (Gene)
8
Saints
6-3-0 Just when you thought they wouldn’t make another run, their offense comes alive. (Gene)
9 Eagles 5-3-0 Vick not only makes this team better, but it makes them fun to watch. (Conoon)
10
Titans
5-3-0 Vince Young will need to get the passing game going for this team to make it higher. (Gene)
11

Colts

5-3-0 Too many injuries. Keep in mind teams that lose the Super Bowl really don’t do much the following year. (Gene)
12 Texans 4-4-0 They need a spark on their team, because right now they’re headed downhill. (Conoon)
13
Buccaneers
5-3-0 I remember doing preseason rankings back in August and I had this team ranked dead last. What a season this has been… (Conoon)
14 Chiefs 5-3-0 And right above the Buccs, were the Chiefs ranked 31st. Hands down, the 2 most improved teams. (Conoon)
15 Chargers 4-5-0 Rivers should get a vote for MVP; he’s throwing the ball to practice squad players and is putting up huge numbers. (Gene)

This week’s rankings were based on a poll of our staff writers: Conoon Kim and Gene Winner.
