The Ben Roethlisberger Situation

Roethlisberger may have been getting a lot of attention lately, but none of that attention has been good news. After meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Roethlisberger has been officially suspended by the league for the first 6 games of the regular season. The league has reviewed Roethlisberger’s linkage to multiple assault allegations and found him in violation of the Personal Conduct Policy.

This means the Ravens will not be seeing him in their first match-up with the Steelers. Actually, with so many possible trade rumors going on, the Ravens might not see Roethlisberger at all next year.

Many sources report the Oakland Raiders being the best possible team for the Steelers to deal with. Between them the most probable situation exists, where Roethlisberger and the Steeler’s 18th pick could be exchanged for the Raider’s No. 8th pick.

The draft is tomorrow, so watch closely for Roethlisberger’s departure from Pittsburgh.
